Services
As a graphotherapist, I offer services dedicated to supporting children and adolescents in improving their handwriting. Through a personalized and caring approach, I help them regain ease, fluidity, and confidence in their handwriting.
Handwriting assessment - €130
The writing assessment is the first essential step before any rehabilitation.
Lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, it allows us to assess the difficulties encountered, highlight the child's strengths and define an individualized work plan.
It includes:
An exchange with the child and their parents in order to better understand their journey and the context of their difficulties.
An observation of the prerequisites necessary for writing.
A detailed analysis of handwriting.
Follow-up sessions - €45
After the assessment, weekly 45-minute individual sessions are set up to support the child in the gradual improvement of their writing.
Course of the sessions
Each graphotherapy session is structured and tailored to the child's needs. It combines a variety of exercises to gradually develop the different skills needed for fluent and legible writing.
Sessions include:
Relaxation, to create a climate of trust and prepare the child for learning.
Posture and pen holding, to ensure comfortable and efficient gestures.
Digital mobility, to strengthen finger coordination and flexibility.
Tracing letters, with progressive exercises adapted to the child's age and level.
Speed, pressure and precision, worked on in a fun way to improve the quality and legibility of writing.
Each activity is carried out in a progressive and motivating way, ensuring that the child can apply what they have learned to their daily writing.
Please note:
As a graphotherapist, I do not make medical diagnoses. Only a doctor can do that. However, my graphotherapy assessment can help a healthcare professional better understand certain writing or coordination difficulties (such as dyspraxia or dysgraphia).
Sessions are not covered by Social Security, but some mutual insurance companies or works councils may reimburse all or part of the costs. Don't hesitate to check with your organization to find out the terms of your contract.
